Dr. Faber of Monroe Dental is clearly discriminatory against Hudson Health patients. On Saturday morning March 7, 2015 I scheduled an emergency appointment for Monday for my son Thomas Parker on the ZOCDOC appointment scheduler on Dr. Faber's web site. I explained that this was an emergency and my son was in pain. Saturday night at 6:51 p.m. I received a confirmation email that Dr. Faber had accepted Tommy’s appointment. On Sunday at 12.59 p.m. I spoke to Dr. Faber's office assistant, Meghan who confirmed Tommy’s appointment and my insurance carrier as Hudson Health. I was told by Meghan that I needed to contact Hudson Health to have Dr. Faber listed as Tommy’s primary care dentist, which I was to do Monday morning at 8:00 a.m. when your office opened. Sunday at 3:32 p.m. I received a telephone call from Meghan stating that they would not be able to see Tommy at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow because he had Hudson Health for insurance. The next appointment they had for a Hudson Health patient would be the end of April. If I wanted my son to be seen on Monday at 9:00 am I would have to pay out of pocket!
