We needed a dentist on a Saturday and called 1-800-dentist and within a minute we were given your name and number. Thank you for being there for us. We have found us a new dentist. Your service is greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

I was in pain all weekend. I called my regular dentist on Monday and they were closed for the week. After desperate calls to many offices, West York Dentistry took me in right away. The dentist was extremely nice to me and explained that I needed a root canal. He did it right away, and had me updated on the procedure throughout the process. He even called me the next day to see how I was doing.

Not good with people who have anxiety and or dental emergencies. The front desk staff was kind in making the appointment and made me feel comfortable; however, the dental team I had experience with was unacceptable. I required two extractions, taking nearly two and a half hours. While the dentist can't control the time it takes, the whole experience was awful. Note that they do not offer any type of sedation or "comfort" dentistry. This is necessary for things like lengthy extractions for many people. I have had a few extractions and NEVER been in as much pain 10 days after as I was this time. This is not "being sore", it is excruciating, nauseating, crushing PAIN that is unresolved with Motrin, ice or moist heat. In the end, the dentist treated me like a drug addict and when I told him of the SEVERE pain and spasms I was having, he told me about the DEA. If I wasn't so hurt and angry, I would have laughed. I, myself, am a healthcare professional, and work with physicians every day. I find this unacceptable behavior towards another human being under your care. The only thing he offered was Motrin. Not even a non pharmacological suggestion to alleviate pain. The assistant during the extraction barely knew Which instruments he was asking for and told me at least 20 times over the two hour ordeal "to just relax"...the hygienist said "you're fine"... No one could even hold my hand. Again, if you have pain and anxiety about the pain-- find another dentist. The group I had NO COMPASSION.
