About Our Office

Kool Smiles was founded in 2002 and was built on the belief that every family has the right to quality dental care in a clean, safe and fun environment. Our first goal is to provide quality and compliant dental care to individuals in communities that typically get overlooked by general dentists. Our services are not just for kids, but since we know children are more likely to have great dental habits if mom and dad do too, we happily care for the entire family.

    Explained treatment
It was my 22 old's first visit since moving to Va beach. The site itself is in a very convenient location and, at first glance, seems very clean and welcoming. The visit was going smoothly until the older Caucasian hygienist informed Fleming that my child would need to see a specialist. Her reply was "that disgusting". He had two cavities that he would not let ANYONE near so the hygienist felt he would be better off being "sedated" before continuing. I understand that dentistry is her life and she can possibly be disheartened when she feels not enough care is given BUT commenting in such a manner, in front of a pt is just plain old unprofessional. I expected difficulty and issues with my child, especially since we just recently got rid of his pacifier, so that was not the reason for my dissatisfaction. Her sheer unprofessionalism was. I plan on returning bt I'm steering clear of Ms. Fleming.
