What is 1-800-DENTIST?

We're a one-of-a-kind company with two very distinct personalities. To millions, 1-800-DENTIST® is the nation's most trusted provider of free, personalized dentist referrals. To dental professionals everywhere we're better known as Futuredontics®, the parent company of 1-800-DENTIST® and the go-to people for innovative dental marketing solutions that help practices acquire and retain more patients.

Our Mission
We know that good dentists change lives. So, our mission is to help the greatest number of people find the quality dental care they need. We do this by providing a unique mix of services that connect dentists to highly motivated dental patients.
Here's How We Make Sure You Find the Right Dentist
Step 1
1   You tell us what you're looking for in a dentist.

Call us or visit our website and answer a few easy questions about what's important to you in a dentist... things like location, specialties and insurance.

Step 2
2   A 1-800-DENTIST referral specialist calls you.

Next, we do something no one else does. An experienced referral expert actually calls you — for free — to personally help at every step of the way.

Step 3
3   An expert does all the work for you.

Our referral specialists will personally match you to the right dentist. We look at everything — including checking which of 600+ insurance plans they accept — to make sure your new dentist is perfect for you.

Step 4
4   Get an appointment in less than 5 minutes.

Last but not least, we'll connect you to your new dentist and help schedule your first appointment. Best of all, the entire process usually takes less than 5 minutes.

His blog, GoAskFred.com, is a free resource, where he shares his expertise with the entire dental industry.

Dental Fun Fact: Fred had buck teeth from sucking his thumb as a child but they went back into place on their own, never requiring braces.

Brian McCarthy
Executive Vice President

Brian joined Futuredontics in early 2014. A respected product visionary and agile evangelist, Brian's career has kept him at the cutting edge of ecommerce, search marketing and local advertising. He's held senior positions at ValueClick, Citysearch/IAC and was most recently the CPO at The Search Agency. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Oregon.

Dental Fun Fact: Brian was fortunate enough to be blessed with straight teeth. Never needing orthodontia, Brian has had to endure a lifetime of razzing by friends and family jealous that he never spent one minute in an orthodontist's chair.

April Anani
Senior Vice President of Finance

April is a highly regarded financial professional who joined Futuredontics in 2004 after a successful career as a Senior Accountant at Ernst and Young. Her clients at E&Y included Homestore.com, IAC, Overture and Red Bull. April is a certified public accountant, a magna cum laude graduate of Boston College, and received her MAcc from the University of Virginia.

Dental Fun Fact: The tooth fairy has been visiting April's house quite a bit lately. Being a proud mom, she's happy to share in the excitement but as an accountant she's alarmed at today's Tooth Fairy's modern rates.

Jonathan Kass
Vice President of Technology

An important addition to the 1-800-DENTIST executive team, Jonathan is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in customer relationship management (CRM), business intelligence/analytics and call center operations. After graduating from Boston University with a computer engineering degree, Jonathan's skills have earned him senior roles at a wide range of Fortune 500 companies, including Rockwell International (Space Systems Division), PacifiCare Behavioral Health and Nationwide Insurance.

Dental Fun Fact: His early career as a successful child model nearly ended when Jonathan accidentally lost his two front teeth. The solution? Dentures. Trouble struck during one commercial shoot which required biting into a sandwich made with a particularly sticky peanut butter and jelly mix. After taking the bite, Jonathan and the crew were surprised to see that his false teeth remained stuck in the sandwich.
