Invisalign is a great new innovation in dentistry that allows you to move your teeth without doing normally what orthodontics does which is put metal brackets on the teeth. It uses a series of clear trays that gradually move your teeth into the right position.
You can remove them to eat; you can remove them for other situations where you don't want them in. Obviously you must keep them in to have the results from Invisalign and it's actually one of the big problems is people take them out and leave them out too long.
But if you're consistent with them you'll find great results from Invisalign with none of the discomfort of having braces. The cases that it can be used on are about 80 percent of orthodontic cases and more and more they're developing ways for teens to use them. It's a great alternative; it's worth talking to your dentist about because more and more people who wouldn't wear braces are using them to straighten their smile. It's a terrific new thing and I recommend checking it out.
