Job duties include (but are not limited to):
New Customer Sales:
- Identify prospective members from Goldmine database within an assigned Marketing area (DMA).
- Contact prospective members to learn about their practice needs and goals.
- Perform Marketing Self-Assessment, if appropriate.
- Present marketing "diagnosis" and "treatment plan" in a consultative manner which addresses prospective needs and provides options.
Member Up-selling:
- Maintain periodic contact with current members to discuss results regarding program(s) to date, additional sales opportunities, and to cultivate referrals.
- Present 1‑800‑DENTIST® and Patient Activator® services that may create additional member value.
Dental Practice Marketing Expert:
- Understand industry issues and effectively communicate ways that dentists can improve their practice performance with our products and services.
- Master knowledge of 1‑800‑ DENTIST® and Patient Activator® features, benefits, tools and insights to be the best possible consultant-in particular the Marketing Self Assessment.
- Create impression that we are the one stop marketing resource for dental practices.
Time and Territory Management:
- Develop plan to most effectively utilize sales and consulting time to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Develop and maintain sales pipeline.
- Acquire new members in a prospective "region"
- Maintain notes and follow-up activity within Goldmine and PRISM.
- Report on market and competitive intelligence gathering.
- Participate in sales team information sharing.
- Master and utilize all tools and resources to achieve or exceed sales goals.

1‑800‑DENTIST® is looking for a Member Services Support Representative. The ideal candidate will be an energetic person who works well under pressure and has previous experience in customer service. We need someone who is well organized, thorough, focused and willing to learn the audience.
Job Responsibilities:
The primary focus is to provide outstanding and unwavering customer service to the 1‑800‑DENTIST® members. This representative must be a self-starter who is detail oriented, accomplishes tasks quickly and efficiently and has the ability to think on their feet. They must also be supportive of a team environment and having a sense of humor is a plus!
Required Skills:
- Strong phone/people skills.
- An ability to listen, acknowledge and address concerns
- Basic computer and typing skills. (Experience with Word is helpful.)'s
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
- Flexibility and a willingness to pick up extra tasks as they present themselves.

We are currently hiring new Operators for our Los Angeles Call Center. We have a diverse blend of employees who all have one thing in common - they love working for a company that "walks our talk" and has a positive impact on the world.
Starting pay is typically between $11 and $12 per hour based upon your skills and experience. As a new Operator Trainee, you must successfully complete a six-month introductory period to become eligible for wage increases, paid holidays (including your Birthday!) and health benefits. This is a full-time position and you can expect to work pre-dawn or late-night and weekends as you get started. Schedule flexibility increases with your availability for busy shifts, and with experience and excellence on the job.
