Dr. Kohler is a highly skilled professional committed to providing his patients with the best dentistry available today. His formal training comes from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry and he continued his training at Evanston Hospital through the Northwestern University Dental School. Dr. Kohler is a member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The Chicago Dental Society, the Illinois State Dental Society, the American Dental Association and is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (only 3% of the dentists in this country have this honor). He is also a member of the professional staff of Evanston Northwestern Healthcare. Dr. Kohler's passion for dentistry is evident in his pursuit of the latest techniques and technology in all areas of dentistry. Our staff works as a team and we attend numerous continuing education courses. Each member has been trained to provide excellent care and we take pride in our professional capabilities.
Preventive dentistry is the most important service we have to offer you. Preventive examination and an oral cancer screening on a regularly scheduled basis will give you the maximum opportunity for long-term dental health. We've also dedicated ourselves to having the most advanced equipment to assure the comfort of our patients. Our services range from oral reconstruction, whitening or bonding of natural teeth; periodontal therapy; crown and bridge for natural teeth and implants; and for patients who require dentures, we fit partial dentures or complete dentures. The basics of good dental health care start with you at home and are followed up by us here at the practice. All patients get an exam and oral cancer screening with the dentist before the hygienist comes in. The doctor is very gentle and we're a family oriented practice. Our sterilization is done in an autoclave. Our emphasis is cosmetics.
