of administrative work, but I am also heavily involved with the
coordination of tradeshows (we do about 30-40 a year) and customer service regarding
Fred Joyal’s book “Everything is Marketing.” I also work closely with and assist the Mailroom, and occasionally do illustrations or story boards for the art director. Just recently, I added a new hat to my collection of job hats as “stand-in” for Fred Joyal on the latest filming of 1-800-DENTIST commercials. I’ve made it, baby!

perhaps, I would be spending the early
afternoon with a couple friends at or around the beach, maybe on a veranda,
rooftop patio, or poolside, accompanied by more mimosas. It would be a nice day, bright with scattered clouds. The air is warm but with a soothing ocean breeze. We have light and silly discussions while an iPod® provides the perfect background noise in the form of three decades’ work of new wave and pop music, each song sparking a memory and story. Then someone mentions margaritas and the sound of a blender fills the air. I would ask for mine with no salt. I would then spend the latter part of the afternoon chilling out at home watching old episodes of "LOST" on DVD until the sun sets. As night falls, I would meet up with more friends for a late dinner at a random Hollywood hotspot. We would share a couple bottles of wine, have some laughs, then go out for cocktails. Finally, we would finish the day with a little dancing to the club hits of the 80s, 90s and today.
What 3 websites do you visit every day?
Only 3?! Ok, I read PinkistheNewBlog.com (for celeb gossip), ComingSoon.net (for upcoming movie news), and, hmm, let’s go with Facebook.com (because all the kids are doing it these days).
Do you have any hidden talents?
I have a crazy knack of memorizing and recalling new and old TV commercial jingles, TONS of obscure pop-culture trivia, and millions of movie and TV quotes at the drop of a hat. This takes up most of the room in my brain, blocking out anything remotely educational that I learned in my many years of schooling.
What have you done that no one would guess you’d done, just by looking at you?
I ran a half-marathon (13.1 miles) in under 2 hours. It’s not like I was looking to do it, but my sister wanted me to run with her, and she sold me on the fact that I would be burning over a thousand calories and we could go eat whatever we wanted after the race. Done and done.
Name one food you could eat every day for the rest of your life.
I could probably clean off a plain New York cheesecake everyday and feel no guilt.
What’s one place you haven’t visited that you would really like to see?
Tokyo, Japan (I was really into the book “Memoirs of a Geisha”).
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Either spinning around and changing clothes really fast, or the ability to see into the future to get the jump on upcoming trends.
What dental secret do you have that you won’t even tell your dentist?
Sometimes I’m just too tired and lazy to floss at night. I’m so ashamed!
Why would you recommend 1-800-DENTIST to friends and family?
Personally, I know a lot of my friends are too lazy
to do things on their own, so 1-800-DENTIST is perfect for them because all
they have to do is give their info to an operator and 1-800-DENTIST does the rest.
What’s also great is that they don’t have to worry about getting some random
dentist listing. All of the dentists have been screened for quality,
and 1-800-DENTIST works with the caller’s preferences in terms of office
equipment, fears, insurance and even doctor gender. They even get the
pleasure of being directly connected to a receptionist at the dental
office they are matched with so they can get any specific questions
answered and get a sense of comfort and familiarity before showing up for their first appointment.
