1-800-DENTIST aligns itself with prominent dental-industry organizations that serve a wide range of dental professionals and communities at large. Through our promotions of these agencies, we too are able to give back to the communities that they serve. And, though we work with many industry partners, we're perhaps most proud of the tremendous work we do with and on behalf of the National Dental Association, the American Dental Association Continuing Education Online, the American Association of Dental Office Managers and the Hispanic Dental Association; details about each of these groups follow - please take a moment to learn more:

National Dental Association

For almost a century now, the National Dental Association (NDA) has been a national forum for minority dentists, as well as a leader in advancing their rights within the dental profession, along with the armed services, government and private sector. Through scholarships and support programs, the NDA promotes dentistry as a viable profession.

NDAs goals and commitments are shared by its auxiliary organizations, namely the Auxiliary to the NDA, the National Dental Assistants Association, the National Dental Hygienists Association and the Student National Dental Organization. Together, these groups compose a membership of more than 7,000, representing all 50 states and several countries abroad.

The NDA is compromised of forty-eight states and local chapters throughout the U.S. and Caribbean. Representing over 6,000 Black dentists, and 30 million Black Americans, it is currently expanding its membership to include oral healthcare professionals in Africa, Canada, Saudi Arabia, South America and Latin America. It is also the parent organization of the Student National Dental Association, National Dental Hygienists Association, National Dental Assistants Association and Auxiliary National Dental Association.

ADA CE ONLINE

The American Dental Assocation CE Online is a learning resource dedicated to dentists and higher level of information.

The American Dental Association Continuing Education Online (ADA CE Online) is the premier dental distance-learning resource, dedicated to helping healthcare professionals achieve a higher level of knowledge and information.

ADA CE Online is an e-learning system that provides the dental profession with access to a comprehensive online CE library, accessible 24/7.  The primary objective of ADA CE Online is to bring new distance-learning opportunities that help meet the professional development needs of dentists, dental specialists, dental hygienists, dental assistants and dental office staff members.

AADOM

The American Association of Dental Office Managers shares resrouces between different dental health professionals.

The American Association of Dental Office Managers (AADOM) is an organization of professional office managers, patient coordinators, dental insurance and financial coordinators, and dental treatment coordinators of general and specialized dental practices. The mission of AADOM is to create and maintain a network of dental office managers throughout the country in order to share resources and information to achieve the highest level of professional development. AADOM understands and specifically caters to the needs of dentists, dental surgeons and the professional staff that power these doctors' offices.

Hispanic Dental Association

The Hispanic Dental Association dedicates to promoting oral health within the Hispanic community.

The Hispanic Dental Association (HDA) is the only national organization of dental professionals that is dedicated to promoting and improving the oral health of the Hispanic community. The HDA advocates for Hispanic oral health professionals across the U.S. They work with a wide spectrum of individuals to improve education, foster research and communicate with Hispanic and non-Hispanic dental professionals and the community at large about oral health issues specific to the Hispanic community.

The HDA encourages interest in oral health careers among Hispanics and provides tools and support to those already serving the Hispanic population.
